FLIGHT SCHOOL

KONKI, YOU HAVE BEEN ASSIGNED THE MOST IMPORTANT MISSION ANY PILOT HAS EVER RECEIVED. WITHOUT THE CONSTELLATION STONES, THE UNIVERSE WILL SLOWLY DARKEN UNTIL THERE IS NO LIGHT AT ALL. YOU MUST DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO GET THEM BACK!

THE SHIP
Time is of the essence, so this mission requires you to operate the quickest ship in our fleet. This means you will not have the luxury of weapons on board. In its place, your ship comes equipped with the ability to upgrade its shields, speed and handling through the collection of Diodes.
Visit the Pickups and Upgrades section for more details.

MOVEMENT
You'll find your deft piloting can get you out of any situation. Good thing control of your ship is fantastically simple, yet incredibly precise. Hold the Wii remote vertically as an infrared pointer and simply aim the onscreen cursor in the direction you wish to travel. Depress the throttle to move.
The further you place the cursor from the ship, the faster the speed you travel. Practice makes perfect, Pilot!

SCREENSHOT 2

ENERGY
Energy is collected in the form of Energy Cells, and is the lifeblood of your vessel. If you hit a wall or hazard, the ship stops for a few seconds while the CPU tracking works to get back online, losing energy in the process.
If you are out of energy when you collide with a wall or hazard, you will fail the mission and have to begin again.

TETHERING
Your spacecraft comes equipped with a tethering mechanism to allow for towing objects such as abandoned spacecrafts and dangerous space mines to safer areas of the stage. To tether, get close to the derelict ship or mine and press Down on the +Control Pad.

SCREENSHOT 4

You will travel to the farthest reaches of the galaxy, braving some of the most dangerous elements and facing some incredible obstacles. The Constellation Stones could be anywhere so prepare for flight through asteroid fields and gaseous planetary rings, as well as through the labyrinth-like space caves and space stations. Narrow corridors, mining drills, steam pipes, debris, gaseous entities, space worms, and of course Dr. Dark Matter's traps are just some of the threats to your ship. Be prepared for anything.

Finally, understand that others have tried and have not been heard from, so you may be tasked with other
secondary objectives such as saving derelict spacemen, recovering stranded space crafts, collecting valuable energy resources, and more on your journey.

WE’RE COUNTING ON YOU!
