Fly with up to 3 other pilots locally and see who has the most skill. The modes range from team to versus to cooperative, and the levels are unlocked by completing the corresponding missions in the Story Mode.
Depending on the level and mode, the mission objectives are to collect energy cells, rescue spacemen, or
tow ships to repair stations.

Here are the six modes to choose from when starting a multiplayer game

Hero Timed Mode

Players race against the clock in order to fulfill their rescue objective.

Hero Point Total Mode

Players must out-rescue their opponents.

Hero Team Player Mode

All players contribute to one rescue score total with defeat of any player signaling the end of the game.

Collector Timed Mode

Players race against the clock in order to fulfill their objective.

Collector Point Total Mode

Players must outscore their opponents.

Collector Team Player Mode

All players contribute to one score total with defeat of any player signaling the end of the game.
